Weight Loss Surgery Support:
Daily Inspiration for July 17, 2010
Katie Jay, MSW
Make an effort.
If a musically inexperienced person sat down at a piano without ever having read a note, her first attempt would sound awful. Yet with education and practice, eventually she would play a pleasing piece.
What will make an inexperienced musician successful is a willingness to practice and to tolerate the discomfort of making mistakes. That attitude is what will make you successful with weight loss surgery.
Action for the day: Are you struggling with maintaining a healthy lifestyle? All you can do is try. If you don't try, you'll never improve. So today, try.
